1. I don't want the extra 10% because the more I enable bots to train off my content - or anyone's - the more likely my future income will be impacted. It may be inevitable, I can't say, but doing it this way doesn't feel right. A little like the Fox offering the Farmer 10% commission on the sale of chickens stolen from his henhouse if he leaves the gate unlocked.

2. No on search engines, especially Google. Google sells itself like the Pope tending its flock - just trying to be helpful, but they're rapacious in their efforts to make $$$ off of everything they touch. If Google Bard is headed this way - then I say lock as many gates as you can for now - until the FTC does something about monopolies.

And just a note on recent stats. Views, Read and Revenue, I cannot track any of these back to actual story stats. A story will show 10 people clapping and 2 views, 1 reads - 9 of which are new to me. My weekly Stats email report showed 134 views for a story that had 114 listed on Stats Page?? Stories with similar claps and reads - one makes $.34 and another $3.32 - sorry, I'm getting lost in all of this. Appreciate the effort here, I do, just need to know that my effort + quality = $$ on some predictable level. Otherwise off to Vegas and the Slots.
