A fascinating look into the life of an introvert. Don't mean to sound voyeuristic, but it was. I liked it. I believe I classified myself once as a mid-vert. I started life very shy, according to my mother. But I later realized I was simply disinterested in the general dialogue running at me all the time. I understood adult level concepts early on and didn't enjoy being scratched under my chin at 2 years-old. I was affronted. 😊

So I came away from that side of the spectrum, ever hopeful of becoming the extrovert that I thought was a prerequisite for success. Never quite made it there but am comfortable in the middle.

I am comfortable with myself, but do need some people around. My job requires that I speak with total strangers - in their homes - every day. Now that stretched the boundaries for me, but again, I am comfortable with it now.

We all live and learn. Cheers and good article. Really, very nicely written.
