Everything in life comes about through transition. We "emigrate" from one phase of our lives to another through some form of trsansition. Going from one job to another we are better suited for. Going from a solitary lifestyle to a partnered one.
These periods of moving from one phase to another can be very chaotic and full of uncertainty, so, many backoff and return to doing something safe and understood. (Which then creates further chaos in being miserable.)
Chaos is what - uncontrolled thoughts, disagreement, emotive responses to too much traffic, too little popcorn at the movies! It will always be there because we are creating it every day.
The people standing in line get "angry" because they conclude they can't wait or that waiting must be accompanied by heavy emotions. It's created from nothing to fill a void they are uncomfortable with - the secods ticking away without doing anything with them.
Abundance is a difficult concept to connect with because our civilizations are constructed on the concept of scarcity. Only so much money, food, power, positions. This creates the anxiety and stress of rising higher to get more and we justify this by claiming we deserve it, we've earned it, we are better then them.
Nature is calming because it just does without all the accompanying angst and mis-emotion. Anger at water taking two minutes to fill a bucket instead of one - accomplishes what exactly?
Thank you for the logic and perspective.
