We all envision trajectories for our life - in all areas of it. Sometimes we're right and things work out pretty much as we planned. Sometimes we miss.

I'm not using the word 'wrong' on purpose because if things don't go our way, that doesn't mean we're wrong. It just means there were other factors that we may not have seen.

Children get married and connect with another person - another family. There may be an instant positive connection or not. Or something in between.

That initial trajectory was set with a finite number of people in mind - so when you add relatively unknow factors (people) to this - the trajectory changes. Sometimes a great deal and we're left a little breathless wondering what happened.

It's all part of life I guess. We live and learn and adapt. Change is inevitable. How we respond to it defines who we are.
