Excellent read, James. Especially the points surrounding college students - fascinating. I find that Republicans generally find a topic, subject or political point they need to reinforcement or denigrate and then find something or someone of value and attach critical statements or beliefs to them.

Example: Grandma loves all her children, Bob, but she keeps telling others that Susan is her favorite, sorry but it's what I hear.

Colleges are bastions of communist ideals and thinking. It's actually the reverse - and they know this - but they get more mileage by making these claims and using it to "cancel out" future potential influence from that sector.

It's very organized, very strategic. Like ten grand masters in a room - only they're not discussing chess - but the long-term outlook for destabilizing an area, state, ideal or party.

It's Orwellian and creepy as hell but being done.
