Fascinating. I read that same passage years ago, do what you doing, while you’re doing it. My takeaway was, stay in the moment, stay focused on what is at hand and not let the mind wander.

It seems the mind either works either logically, in an orderly fashion … or like a pinball machine, flitting from one idea or fragment to the next, taking unless along for a rather bumpy and unsettling ride.
