Fascinating - didn't know this. I have tried to like evangelicals - well, not all that hard, but I did try at times. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and all that - but in the end, I just couldn't do it. Couldn't get past the point that they just weren't all that likable. I admit I don't like being told what to think so maybe this had something to do with it. Was raised Catholic and OMG, everything was a sin. Everything needed to be repented. Evangelicals are just like that. We are all bad. Evangelicals and salesmen have far too much in common. We are in desperate need of WHATEVER they are selling. We are always matching toward damnation - and that is beyond frustrating. How did one group of people become so all-knowing? Yeah, lots wrong and we should be focused on that.
