I found that commercials - and their need to get more and more over the top follow the same functional downside to Weed.
In that after a while, the effects start wearing off so you need to do more and more. We become a little desensitized to it all.
So, advertisers assume we're over it - had enough - done listening. And they're right. So, they get bolder and badder and more in your face in the hopes of luring us back in.
