Funny ... when you say, Love is all you need, I can immediately recall all the eye-rolls and guffaws I've heard in my life from others who look at such overt expressions as silly or plain wrong.

But mention - I wanted to punch his lights out, or stick it where the sun don't shine, or one of my favorite, make him eat his words - and you would get a chorus of hoots and nodding heads.

Violent responses are so accepted. It's what we do to get attention, to make things right. But love? What has that ever accomplished??

I appreciate your efforts to be nice Michele. My wife is like you. She's just plain nice and helpful and hopeful and she pays a dear price for that. But she continues.
