The closer decisions get to "home" the more difficult they can become. No one likes making mistakes even though we've all made tons of them and learned. It's the 'dead-end effect' as I call it - taking time and effort to follow a path and find out that there's nothing there and having to start over. But short of a crystal ball, we don't have all the answers - but we do have intuition -perfected through those same mistakes.
