You know what grit is = survival. It takes grit to not drown. To not give up after being fired for something you didn't do. For losing the pension you work 40 years for.

Grit is what gets in your eye when the wind is blowing. Everything else is survival.

We keep walking, working, laughing and trying because there is someone on the other end of what we're doing that depends on us.

Corporations are based on greed - and I'm not saying this to vent here - please do the math. They exist to make money for shareholders. CEOs get busted for falling 8 cents short of their targeted dividend even when it's highest ever. TESLA has a higher market cap than most industrialized nations - and they just started having profitable quarters.

What keeps corporation in check has been unions, honest public servants and whistleblowers and we're running out of them.
