It was 20 years ago when I started running a retail website. Email campaigns, Google Ads, SEO, click rates, ROI — what a learning curve!

Medium is a cool place to play. They keep moving the lines and boundaries all the time — makes for an interesting game when the rules are fluid — but at the end of the day, you get a lot to read for $5 a month.

Could it be better — sure. Gas could be $3 a gallon again too, but I’m realistic about the chances. In the meantime, I’ll try harder and enjoy it more.
