Hey Jenine — thanks for stopping by for a read. To be honest, I generally don’t speak in psychological terms because I find them way too inclusive of too many things or far too thin and general. But the word — Depression — has recognition and I generally accept it as a term that described what I was going through.

I definitely felt down when I was younger — as in, below the level of optimum survival. I was aware enough to see that it needed to change but it took a while for me to figure it out. My dad was already gone and my mom was busy putting her life back together and raising a two-year-old, so safe to say that my “sessions” were primary me, myself, and I. So, it took a while.

Some of my solutions were probably wrong (😁) but I learned from them and eventually got it right enough times to find a good and proper solution — which I did.
