I was going to start working on my book of poems for publication on Amazon - but I think I'll go back into my basement with the Shiitake and Portabellas and hang out there instead. 😜. I wondered why I felt so comfy down there?! 🤔

Seriously though, excellent article. I hate every word of it - but I feel enlivened by it as well.

About 40 years ago I started writing children's stories and sent out my scripts about 200 times. Papered my walls with rejection slips for a year or two but finally started getting some sales. So, I know the feeling of waking up to No Thanks or Doesn't meet our current editorial requirements or F**k off we already have too many stories.

But better to be harsh and helpful than soft and reassuring and get nowhere.

Speaking of mushrooms - perhaps I should start selling them on Amazon - might have better luck.
