Hey P.G. - been a while. (Note the instant tie in to the content of your article? I'm paying attention.)

Seriously though, thought you were writing about me. I've lamented to my wife and my cat, that I just don't have many friends and that this has been an ongoing theme for decades.

I'm in sales - so I am always talking and with a decent head on my shoulders - I am capable of diverse conversations and most people seem to enjoy them. Then I leave the house.

Same pattern, over and over. Have some friends and I enjoy their company. Then things go quiet.

Friendship is like gardening though - plant seed, water once, wait - is not going to cut. You have to "tend" a garden, same for friendship. It takes work - but worth it. Good "seeing" you again. Cheers.
