Hey Trista, great piece. Trust is an interesting concept. Sometimes its as fragile as a butterfly's wing or as strong as a bridge than spans two islands. I have been dealing with trust in my personal life lately - lost and gained - and it's a tough one. Like you I have chosen to trust people first in my life and then see how things work out. It almost always works out for the best. The one time in a 100 when it doesn't, I find myself lying in that ditch - with little birds circling my head, wondering what happened.

But in the aggregate, trusting others is worth it.
