Thanks for coming by. I segued off reading your comment to read through your first article on truth and then left my own message. That was a good read.

I agree, getting older was all about getting wiser and of more use. When these attributes are shunned or thought of like “Ok Boomer” then we are on a deep slide because other attributes from other groups will suffer the same fate.

What was once a political expedient — telling lies and twisting the truth — has become the default position, but not just in politics. Why of all things, was this MO adopted as the go-to way to communicate to one another?

Then add in a good dose of social media shorthand and actual social discourse is shunned and poo-pooed as old school. “Don’t have the time to waste talking, I’ll just send a link to someone else who did the thinking for me.”
