Hi Jessica,

Thank you for reading and responding. America is a place of continual motion. We epitomize the western ethos of work-work-work, and use the hours spent as a measuring stick against our own inherent value. Odd, how that process came about.

I take walks, look at trees and clouds. Think about who walked before me in that location 100 years before. It puts things into perspective. Slows things down.

I like keeping “busy” but I don’t like feeling rushed. Doing well, can also mean doing a lot, but at a leisurely pace.
