I agree with you 100%, George. At the same time I worry that taking action to get your steps in play are being overshadowed by the current reality on the Internet and social media. Where 12 word sentences are achingly long and concepts explained over 2 or 3 mid-range paragraphs are viewed as abuse. Readers demand bullet points, section headers and takeaways listed so their investment is minimal. I don't get it. Reading used to be its own reward. Nowadays it's transactional - where's the side hustle, the weight loss idea, the path to a better career in 3 years? Oh my.
