I disagree. It’s satirical. It states that someone, anyone entering a melee like this with a rifle is not clearly assessing the situation and naively believing that his weapon will not create any impact on what’s happening around him. You don’t bring a 5-gallon gasoline container into a fire — thinking I need to help put this out.

Again the piece is satirical and expresses my disgust with the whole situation. Please point your pen elsewhere — perhaps it’ll do some good.
