I guess we all need a 400 foot yacht, helicopters, $5000 shoes (that are not made by poor millionaires) and so on. It's not that they cannot enjoy a $10,000 TV set, they install eight of them so they're never out of earshot of Survivor. I think you missed the point. Yes everything they buy is made by someone who is paid to do it - but it's the EXCESS that we find chilling. It's the wearing of $100,000 mink coat once and then offering it to charity to assuage the guilt. Being wealthy isn't a sin. Being oblivious IS.
