I had a talk with my wife yesterday and she pointed out that once again, I was not giving myself a well done, when I have done so much over the last 8 months. I was only seeing what wasn't and not what was. All true. All about gratitude. What is missing, holds such allure for us - don't always understand this. Such a waste of time.

Enjoyment of a single flower, seems inappropriate somehow - should be admiring an entire garden.

Banking a smaller paycheck is not something to be thankful for - just the longing for a larger one.

Humans can be so boneheaded, me included. We step right over something cool and wonderful, to get at the real objective of admiration.

Thank you for keeping it real. Thanksgiving has always been about family and friends and being thankful - not about turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy - though they are cool. It's about the spiritual and not the material. Not the gifts, but the giving.

Thanks for the reminder, Michele. 😊❤👏
