I hear you, James. I’m really not that guy that says everything in the past was better because I know that isn’t true. There were clunkers back then as well. It’s just this “thing” about putting the old sow in a new dress and telling everyone it’s unique and different — it ain’t.

I still get goosebumps thinking about watching Star Trek for the first time. Those that have watched all the Marvel and DC films have seen billions in CGI, so they are spoiled with state-of-the-art. Can’t compete. But the stories — yeah they sure did. They were cool and innovative.
