I joked to as Medium rep, not too long ago, that I was getting more views on my articles by "posting" them on a telephone pole out in front of my house, then by posting them on the platform. I was venting at the time that getting curated on Medium was like trying to get an audience with the Holy See or a golf date with the Dali Lama.

Frustrating. But ... there is the aforementioned addiction. Getting the shakes or delirium tremens at 3 am is not a lot of fun. So I get up and write and then write some more.

Frustration is to the Writing Life, what cramps are to the long-distance runner.

What can you do - write about it of course.
