I lived in England for four years - way back when. Mind and souled filled with its history. Its castles and grand manor houses. Loved all of it. The monarchy was like a backdrop to it all. Ever present but not quite real - like a Shakespearean play. Won't be watching it. Can't really imagine a King in 2023. On TV perhaps, Netflix for sure. But in real life. Yes, Your Majesty - words that belong in bygone times not viewed on a smartphone or on the telly.

Like your piece though, the history of it. History being the keyword for me. It's where I think it belongs. Cheers, George
