I think if Trump has done nothing else - he has shown us that rationality and irrationality are fluid and have little to do with reality or actual survival.

At least with Bin Laden and Hitler you could see the agenda. You can rationalize that they had a reason for their hatred that existed outside themselves.

Trump is only about himself. He would embrace both men and far worse - if it got him the votes, got him praised. Trump actually stands for nothing and I mean nothing. Which is why he is so good at lying. Nothing about the man gets in the way of his lies. He comes across as sincere - because he believes completely that he is right about all things - lying included. It's all rather simple - just like the man himself.
