Bad bosses are like bad dogs, you end up with having to untrain their bad habits in order to train them into good ones. And make no mistake all good bosses were trained this way. By good employees who had the courage to interact. Many good employees don't won't to be bosses, doesn't mean they wouldn't make good ones. So, when they point out positive things - best to listen.

I always listened and observed. I saw bad managers f**k things up time and again and learned from that experience.
