I was always impressed with the houses in the Cleaver neighborhood. Tree-lined streets and dogs on leashes were an interesting sight for a boy from Brooklyn. There was drama every week but there were also laugh tracks and resolutions which made everything seem fantasy-like. I didn’t consider it complicated, still don’t really. Sneaking a peek at the answers to a test, or Eddie getting Wally to cover him about an after-school rendezvous didn’t cross the line for me — seemed easy going. But I enjoyed it nonetheless.
Thanks for stopping by.
