I was that kid watching Combat every Tuesday night, thinking wow.

Now, wow isn't the word or the emotion I feel when contemplating D-Day, Omaha Beach and all we went through. I just wish that these memorials had a way of getting their message into the men that make the decisions that brings all of us closer to doing something like this again.
