I watched a movie some years ago - then watched it 5 more times over the years. It "bombed" in the theaters. Had critics wailing. Friends never heard of it. It was a really good movie - it's just that no one found it. It wasn't marketed well. Wasn't placed where people would see it. Someone gave up on it before it was released. It happens. The same thing happens with writing. All these tips about writing a better article. Better articles need to be seen. They need to be placed in front of others. Articles with great titles, good hooks, nice writing get ignored every day on Medium. Do you know what happens to a great TV pilot that never gets aired? Nothing.
