I wish that I were blissfully ignorant of what took place. Alas, I am not. There are few facts used to underpin my article because its intent is satirical and point out the absurdity of what took place.

Rittenhouse did possess a gun he was too young to have. A friend did buy it for him. Two men died. I believe it is self-evident that taking a loaded rifle into a riot/protest/bit of insanity is crazy in itself.

What took place was inevitable and that is the heartbreaking truth of it. None of it should have happened — but guess what — it did. And it happened again in Michigan.
