I wore cut off jeans and thin jackets until Thanksgiving - in New York. The cold was my friend. It woke me in the morning and reminded me with each breath that I was alive and well and - just keep moving. So I did and haven't stopped.

Childhood - wow. I have a one-year old grandson and I am learning so much from him. His ability to focus and take in the world. To do what he's doing when he's doing it. To enjoy an empty plastic bottle as much as a $50 toy truck. He's inspirational.
