If we were prescient and had performed standard medical surveys in 2018 and 2019 we might now know how many people return from flights with a cold, the sniffles, or your basic flu. I would bet it's a high percentage, meaning we've been catching bugs forever. Who can be in a confined space sharing air and having a 200% better chance that your particles will fly farther and faster in a plane than at the laundromat.
So, yeah do your best, wear a mask (I didn't flying home from Boston, nor my wife and she caught it) so there you go. Cheers.
