I'm Italian. So half of what I say comes through my hands and facial gestures. When it's free-flowing people are engaged. I try to write the way I speak - still learning.

The hands are intuitive, they set out to create an image based on what I'm thinking. They don't ask for instructions - they just start.

I have noticed that my best articles are like my best conversations - the "hands" are in play.

Thanks for putting more succinctly what I've begun to see on my own. The start is what gets attention.
