In plain language - discrimination sucks. It bears false witness against a person simply because of their sex, their color, their age, and so on. If you follow the root of the word - discriminate - its origins mean to divide and judge.

The action tries to separate the person from who they are by demeaning one aspect of them. It's all rather evil. It just needs to go away.
