In the distant past - If I had a sharp flint and you had four apples - we could trade and both get what we needed. There's was purpsoe to every transaction. Today - all too often, money is the end result. The more we have the greater we perceive our value to be. We've lost the whole point. Money makes gathering what we need easier - it facilitates exchange. It has no inherent value.

If you're cold and in the elements - a stack of one million dollars will keep you warm for about 6 minutes. Ten logs however - for hours.

It's what we do with it that gives it value. Good article, Liam.
