Interesting concept that what we see in others is some aspect of ourselves. 🤔

I have spent many years in positions where I was tasked with helping others . . . a church administrator, drug rehab center counselor and so on.

Personally I think it inevitable that we'll meet ourselves in other people - or at least a small part of us. Something we dislike or fear or question.

But there are times when what we meet has nothing whatsoever to do with us and yet we feel threatened or disturbed by it.

Have you ever walked past a very angry person? You can feel the anger and energy coming off in waves. That right there triggers upset in us - because it is similar in make-up to what we experience.

We are all connected in this universe -so sometimes we feel is simply what someone else is feeling and being receptive - we experience it as well.

Just my thoughts prompted by what you wrote, Esther. Very good piece. Important. Cheers.
