I've been wearing glass since I was 12 and never would have thought of this. This fixidity on the part of the eyewear industry seems to undermine most businesses' urge to generate profit from all quarters. Funny they wouldn't pursue the solution to this in the interest of more money.

I have an unusually large head - which thankfully is proportionate with the rest of me - but it makes for a limited number of frames that will fit and not make me look like a cartoon character. Even some of the national chains will show me two frames with a big smile - like I should be thankful they have that many. Some things just defy logic.
