When someone does something cool, they tell theirs friends and family about it.

When a company has a great year, they issue a press release, throw a party and make their success known.

When a corporation does really well, their stock price goes up, someone writes about them and the bonuses given to the CEO - basically they spread the word.

But when something isn't going well, a couple is breaking up, a partnership ending, a corporation not making payroll - things remain quiet - until the big event happens.

Medium is showing signs of distress. They're quiet. They're making rapid unreported changes. They're laying people off and shutting down publications.

I wish them the best, I truly do, just not sure what is really going on. I hope I'm wrong.
