Just want to make sure I got this … You lie to me and tell me what I want to hear, so that I will follow you in doing what is essentially pointless, while sharing your lies with others, who will in turn, follow said lies, while also sharing it with others, in an endless loop of lies, useless actions and failed hope, that will never amount to anything and will only benefit you. Is that about right?

Wait a minute … if you’re always lying, then it’s possible that what you are telling me to do - that will probably amount to nothing — may actually be the truth, in which case, doing what you say, and sharing it with others, may actually result in people doing well … which would of course mean, you make tons of money.
