Let me posit something: If you were drowning, sucked into the current of a raging river and saw two men on shore who seemed ready to "help" would you choose a man you didn't know holding a rope or a second man who resembles the one standing behind you moments before you suddenly fell into the river - who's now standing on a boat holding a sign that reads - I Can Help?
To me that's Trump. He is part of the problem. He reads people well - his whole life is based on reading people well and taking advantage of what he sees. That makes him observant not good. Inequities exist, and most of us share them. He's not a solution though, never was, and never will be. Though he will always sound like one. Understanding the problems people are having is essential - but it's their solution that is so troubling. How do we separate the two long enough for a viable solution to enter the mix - that's the question.
