Lies used to wear large feathered hats and sported big red noses so they were easy to recognize. They stood out in a normal group of humans. They tried but often couldn't hide.

But today lies are everywhere. They've ceased being careful, why bother - they're in demand. People now want them at their parties. Want to mingle with them out in the open.

But they still wear large feathered hats - the bigger and gaudier the better. They want to be seen. No longer fearful of being criticized they strut in full view posing for the Paparazzi.

Lies I understand. They're weak and unable to hold truth near. But Liars … they are the worst. Whenever I begin to forget their danger, I turn on Fox News and breathe in.

Sorry you were accosted by them recently.

Great emotional poem. 👍👍
