Medium reminds me of any old-time eating establishment called an — Automat. They used to be in New York City. On the inside it looked like a restaurant with tables, chairs and such but there were no wait staff at all. Just banks of coin-operated slots. Drop in your quarter — the door opens and out came your piece of pie. All automated.
Medium provides some help pages posted around the website and they are useful in giving you the fundamentals of how the system works. Customer service has been responsive to me — mostly by referring me back to the above-mentioned pages.
Subjective questions like what gets curated and why? Nothing specific as yet.
I checked out the articles written by Casey Botticello (shown below) found them helpful and more importantly — hopeful.
