Momma and grandma had a lot of good advice back in the day — common-sense advice. People get locked into their emotions and their losses and cruise right past logic and reason. It’s happening more and more.

Back in the day, Art Linkletter hosted a show called — Kids Say the Darndest Things — and it was a joy to watch as kids gave their impression of the world around them. It was often “wrong” but innocent and funny. Today we have the adult version of that airing every day — with adults giving their impression of the world around them and it’s usually filled with false data and skewered perspectives — not funny at all.

Calming down is what we all need to do and wait for the science to come in.
