One thing about isolation … or being on the other side of the world when I read an article that I like… when I shout out Here Here … the only one listening is my cat. And she’s more likely to me miffed that I woke her up, than appreciating me pointing out an excellent article.

But still, I liked this one.

I’ve known a few people in my lifetime that I liked and willingly followed — just a few. Most others simply held a position that also held a little altitude and, well, you had to follow someone.

I have found that people appoint leaders. They’ll follow a boss, but they listen intently to a leader and trust their judgment. That’s what I tried to accomplish when I held that position — be the person that I would trust and respect.
