Power is alluring and normal people become transfixed by it. Good Christians vs Bad Christians is a tough one to discern - at least I find it so. If one believes in Christ, one believes in a very simple person with endless compassion and respect for others. The test should be simple.

The four point Evangelical test may appear simple but I don't feel it is. "Obedience to the Bible as the ultimate authority" is frightening to me. The book is over 2000 years old. It's been rewritten and revised countless times by men - flawed men - good men - men with agendas.

It is then interpreted and explained countless times by a few to many. It's far too many people, telling far too many others, what they must think and feel and do, to be a good Christian.

When I real Christ's words I find is rather simple. Love - compassion -honesty.

Great article.
