Retroactive is a word, Medium should define and put into use. When they find an error or that a story was not being paid on - they always fix the problem but never go back to retroactively ensure monies owed was also paid.

Medium is a cool platform, but like everything else, it can be "improved" into total disuse. Which is a shame.

They still seem to be operating on the datum that if it isn't broken, fix it anyway.
