Right you are, Mr. Steve.
The funny thing is, is that anger is polymorphus. In one moment, It's rocket fuel allowing us access to a strata we don't normally frequent and wish we could; and at other times a giant hammer, giving us free reign to pound every opposing point into submission. How do we harness this?
Social media (God, I've begun to hate this term because it's neither) has discovered this little piece of kryptonite that raises revenue, blood pressures and rhetoric to dangerous levels, all the while believing (in some small dark corner of their world where dampness and mildew flourish) that they're doing something beneficial. Providing people with access to free speech and new ideas.
It has become a shining example of what happens when you add one part money to one part altruism and let it comingle without supervision.
Alas, my "anger" has subsided and I am ready for some chocolate and a nap.
As always, food for thought, Steve QJ. Damn good article.
