That many days?! War is not one thing, it’s a composite of many emotions, many of which you articulated above. When you add sulfur, oxygen, and hydrogen together you get sulfuric acid — very dangerous stuff. But separately the chemicals are more benign.

Shout out that war is needed at a large birthday party and they’ll toss you out of the room. Shout out the same words in an unemployment office and you’ll get some takers.
