I recently mentioned this on another article here --- or was it Substack? Sorry I used to remember sh*t like this but since I moved past age 36 the gray cells have been rebelling.

Anyway, I wrote an article in March on Medium and it immediately took off, you know, like a paper airplane into a headwind. About 25 views and then it got "Boosted." Yee ha. Within 6 minutes I had 1500 views. Also got some of the best and kindest comments in the 4 years I've been on Medium. 99% from people I had never seen or heard of. Fascinating. Suddenly I was set free. People saw me - for two days, then the Universal Hoover sucked me back in to mediocrity, where I've dwelled since.

But I saw the light. Felt like the hero in Soylent Green - seeing meadows and green fields for the first time. It told me what would happen if people actually got to see what I wrote.

I feel you pain and then some. Keep on carrying on.
